Our country subsidiary AGT Madagascar was founded in April 2021. The head office of the national company is located in the capital Antananarivo. Outside the capital, Madagascar is dominated by agriculture, like many countries in sub-Saharan Africa. The main agricultural products are rice and corn, as well as fruit and vegetables. And this is why we focus on supporting farmers and small trades to strengthen economic growth in the communities.
Our first ImpactSite® in Madagascar opened in 2022 and provides reliable, sustainable solar power to a large rural community. In addition, the local team is working to implement the first ImpactProducts and C&I projects.
