Fanidiama – A Growing Community

Since October 2019, a Solartainer® Amali in Fanidiama has been in operation, supplying the community with solar power. Access to electricity has triggered an economic growth spiral, so that Fanidiama has now developed into a small town. Many small businesses and private households run electrical appliances.

Burkina Faso and Côte d'Ivoire as Direct Neighbours

Fanidiama is located in the extreme south of Mali and is only a few kilometres away from Burkina Faso and the Ivory Coast. Maize, wheat, cotton and peanuts are grown in the surrounding fields. Without long transports, the farmers can sell their products at good prices to the neighbouring villages and countries, thus allowing the community to profit from growth of the economy and prosperity.
